The NeverEnding Story - Pixel Style Illustration

This image was an epic undertaking, overall took me several months to chip away at it in the background. A full time job as an Art Director in an Animation Studio plus a young family really made this project a protracted experience.
I like to have multiple projects on the go at the sometime to keep me stimulated. Long form and short form projects, this was obviously the long form one.
The more I looked and referenced the movie the more I seen how much of a masterpiece it was visually. Production Design was incredible. It's a epic journey.
